Friends of Pokfulam Village Cultural Landscape Scheme

Friends of Pokfulam Village Cultural Landscape Scheme (FOPV) 2019 (1st Batch) is now opened for application.

Pokfulam Village Cultural Landscape Conservation Group (PFLV Group) has received encouraging responses from the public since the launch of docent walk in 2013. Over the years, we have served over 5000 guests and visitors. As you may know that PFLV Group together with Caritas are selected as the operator of the previous Senior Staff Quarter- Braemar of Dairy Farm with the theme “Pokfulam Farm” under the Batch 4 of Revitalization Scheme of Development Bureau, recruitment for volunteers is now started. 　

Successful applicants of this scheme will be invited to attend our trainings and workshops on history or heritage, heritage sites visits and volunteer in education activities. In addition, some of them can become docents after attending training programmes, who help convey the importance of heritage conservation to the public. PFLV Group will keep a track record of the activity / service hours of each member every year. To complement the active FOPV, awards will be presented to the most dedicated members of the year.
